Family programmes

We support the families of children and young people who attend Hobby Lobby courses with a range of offers. Parent-child relationships are strengthened through information relevant to parents and joint leisure activities.

For strong families

Since autumn 2025, Hobby Lobby has been offering another programme for a new target group: we now also provide activities for the families of children and young people who attend Hobby Lobby courses. The programme aims to support parents and guardians in developing their skills and knowledge, strengthen the parent-child relationship and thereby also promote the resilience of children and young people.

With this programme, Hobby Lobby offers families the opportunity to expand their network, spend valuable time together, get to know each other better and also shows that knowledge and skills can be gained anytime, anywhere.

The project arose from an innovation process carried out in cooperation with wirkt. and funded by the FFG and the Ministry of Social Affairs. 80 adult experts and 40 children and young people were extensively involved in the development of the programme.

Familiy Lab

At our Family Lab, children and young people enjoy leisure activities together with their parents. The aim is to strengthen relationships, promote parents as reliable caregivers and thus support children's resilience. Our cooperation partners enable for example visits to museums, technology workshops and other experiences.

Skills letters

Parents learn what their child is learning, can do and is experiencing in Hobby Lobby's leisure courses through skills letters tailored to each individual child – in a simple, positive and everyday way.
