Even in Lower Austria, many leisure opportunities are not equally accessible to young people from socioeconomically disadvantaged families — due to financial, social, and cultural barriers.
Since autumn 2022, Hobby Lobby Lower Austria has been closing this gap with its locations in Mödling and Wiener Neustadt.
It brings us great joy to see children and young people discovering their talents, overcoming challenges, and forming new friendships within just a few weeks.
Together with the course instructors, the young participants work on developing future skills, such as teamwork, communication, and constructive feedback.
Through their successes in the courses, they also build self-confidence and resilience.
